I experienced a serious issue with my laptop when it overheated during a Windows 11 update, causing it to shut down mid-process. After that, it acted up, but I managed to revert to an earlier update, and it seemed fine. However, when I tried to update again, Windows wouldn't load at all, and none of the recovery options worked. I attempted a reinstall, but it didn't finish properly, and now I can't find the option to install Windows again. Is there any way I can fix this myself?

Before diving into repairs, make sure to address the overheating issue. If you're not gentle with the internal components, you might cause more harm. If opening up the laptop feels too risky, it's best to consult a local repair shop.
If the reinstall failed entirely, something may be seriously damaged. I'd suggest testing with a live OS first. If that works, it could indicate your SSD is failing. If not, it might be a deeper hardware issue like the CPU or RAM. Also, when you tried reinstalling, did you delete all partitions? If not, the problem might stem from a corrupted partition table or file system rather than physical SSD damage.
Have you tried reinstalling Windows using a USB drive or resetting within the existing installation? Those options can sometimes help when the recovery environment is acting up.
Yeah, I tried all the options in the recovery environment, including system restore and reset, plus I attempted to reinstall using an external hard drive.

To be fair, the overheating was my fault, but I'm worried it's a bigger problem now.
