Help! My Windows 11 Laptop Keeps Dropping the Wi-Fi Connection

I'm having a frustrating issue with my Windows 11 laptop constantly disconnecting from the internet when I'm using Wi-Fi. It takes a while for it to allow me to reconnect again. I've tried several solutions like updating the network adapter drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling them, and even performing network resets multiple times. I even reset the entire laptop, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this issue, I would greatly appreciate it! Here's a link to my laptop model for reference: [this laptop](https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1825630-REG/acer_phn14_51_98b1_14_5_predator_helios_neo.html). Thanks for your help!

It sounds really frustrating! Since you've tried all those resets and updates, I would suggest checking your router settings next. Sometimes, Wi-Fi interference from other devices can cause these dropouts. Make sure your router firmware is up to date, and if possible, try changing the Wi-Fi channel. That might help improve stability. Also, consider temporarily connecting via ethernet to see if the issue persists, just to isolate whether it’s a Wi-Fi-specific problem.

Good point! I've had a similar issue, and switching the Wi-Fi channel did make a difference for me. Definitely worth trying!

Have you checked if the power-saving settings for your network adapter are causing the disconnection? Sometimes Windows disables the adapter to save power. You can check this in the Device Manager under your network adapter properties. Just uncheck the box that says 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.' It might solve your problem!

I haven't tried that yet! I'll give it a go and see if it helps me stay connected.
