I've had my Windows 11 computer for less than a year, and it's been a struggle lately. I'm an amateur music artist, and after downloading some samples to use in ABLETON, I started facing issues like frequent logouts from NordVPN and my antivirus failing. I thought it might just be software glitches, but I was wrong. After noticing strange entries in the startup menu tied to my registry, I discovered what seemed to be malware. I deleted it, but now I can't even access Safe Mode or BIOS! My PC powers on, the fans and LEDs work, but the monitor is blank. I've tried various keys to access BIOS with no success. I did try some troubleshooting steps, but nothing worked. Can anyone offer some help? Please feel free to ask if you need more details!

It sounds like your system is pretty messed up! You might want to try removing the SSD to see if it lets you boot straight into BIOS. If that doesn't work, consider formatting the SSD and starting fresh with a new Windows 11 installation from a USB stick. Just make sure to back up anything important if you can access the drive later.
That might work! Just remember to have a plan for your data since formatting will erase everything.
This sounds complicated, but don't rush to conclusions about a virus just yet. There might be hardware issues at play since you can’t boot into Safe Mode or BIOS. Maybe double-check connections and internal components if you can get in there safely.
Definitely feeling like it could be hardware-related since nothing seems to be working.
It's essential to ensure you have a solid antivirus. Microsoft Defender usually does a decent job if you configure it well. If you’re thinking malware is the issue, a clean Windows install from a USB would be the simplest solution. Just make sure to troubleshoot hardware issues since it sounds like your PC is not booting at all.
I'm totally new to this and didn’t have backups. I’d revert to my old version if I could! But I can't even get a UI to show up.
Before making any big changes, just remember: messing with BIOS can lead to data loss. It’s often best to back everything up first. If you’re having major issues booting into Windows, it might really just be a case of needing to do a clean install from a USB stick.
I didn't touch BIOS settings, just changed msconfig for Safe Mode. But now, nothing's showing up!

I can't find where to open the SSD since it's custom-made, but I do have a USB with a Windows 10 boot setup.
