Help! My Windows Server Won’t Start After Disk Capacity Issues

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice on a tricky situation. We have a Nutanix cluster that hit 95% disk capacity, which caused a bunch of our servers to switch to read-only mode. Now, when we try to restart the affected Windows server after clearing some capacity, it either gets stuck on the Nutanix boot screen or shows a BSOD. We've already tried booting using an ISO to get into command prompt, running DISM, performing chkdsk with the /r /f flags, and using bootrec commands. Has anyone found a successful way to get back into Windows in a situation like this?

It sounds like you've hit some serious capacity issues! Before you try booting any VMs in a cluster, make sure you've cleared out some space. Deleting low-priority VMs is a good start, and look into adding more storage to the cluster. It’s crucial to keep that disk space in check to avoid read-only mode again in the future!

We've cleared a lot, but it seems that hitting that 95% mark just sends everything into chaos. When our server rebooted for patching, we ran into constant BSODs or got lucky sometimes but encountered disk corruption. We relied on DISM a lot just to get back into Windows. Just hoping to find a few pro tips on recovering the OS without losing our minds!
