Help! My Wired Mouse Won’t Work on Windows 11

I'm having trouble with my wired mouse on my Windows 11 desktop. I've already tried several fixes like unplugging and re-plugging it, uninstalling drivers from the device manager for a fresh reinstall, and confirmed that mouclass.sys is working. I also asked for help on a support platform and even reinstalled Windows 11. Interestingly, the mouse works in the BIOS, and in device manager, it shows up as a 'USB composite device' under 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' but doesn't appear anywhere else. This problem started after I tried to install some PS3 controller drivers using ScpToolKit. The mouse lights up and works fine on other computers, plus I tested it with a wireless mouse using a dongle, but that didn't work either. I'm really stuck and could use any advice! Let me know if you need more details. Also, I did mention that I reinstalled Windows after using ScpToolKit.

It sounds like the PS3 controller drivers might have messed things up a bit. Just a heads-up, that ScpToolKit isn't maintained anymore—definitely not ideal for Windows 11. You could try following the removal guide for those drivers to help clean things up. There's always a chance a fresh install might be needed if it affected core drivers, but let's hope it doesn't come to that!

Yeah, I tried reinstalling Windows completely after using ScpToolKit, so I don't think that’s the issue right now. I even tested a couple of different mice on different USB ports, but nothing works.
