I'm having trouble with both my wireless and wired mouse not working on my laptop. The wireless mouse shows up as an unknown device in the Bluetooth settings, and when I check Device Manager, it says my HID-compliant mouse is corrupted or missing. I have no idea what's causing this issue. Can anyone lend a hand?

It sounds like your problems started after you installed something called interception.zip. This package includes a driver that's used to modify mouse and keyboard input, which might have messed with your device settings. A good move is to uninstall that driver and see if your mouse works again. If you need to reinstall it, make sure you follow the installation instructions carefully.

Yeah, and just a heads up, a restart might be required after installing or uninstalling it. If you run into an error saying you need to close Interception, make sure to remove it completely in the command line first.
