I'm in a bit of a crisis. My dad has taken my iPhone without my consent and is going through my private messages, which is causing a lot of stress. I'm currently staying at my mom's place. Is there any way I can change my phone's password remotely through the iCloud website? I have my iCloud info and I'm desperate for a solution that won't mess up my phone. Please help me!

You can actually put your phone in Lost Mode from iCloud.com. This can help lock it down remotely so your dad can’t access your messages without entering the passcode. Just go to iCloud.com and find the option for Find My iPhone. It's pretty straightforward!
I recommend going to [iCloud.com/find](https://www.icloud.com/find) to enable Lost Mode. Just make sure you remember how to unlock your phone when you get it back, though!
Just curious, what apps are you using for those private chats? It might help to know if there are direct solutions for specific apps.
Mostly WhatsApp and Instagram, but literally all my messages are at risk, it’s super stressful!
If you’re really worried, consider calling Apple Support directly. Just explain the situation and they might be able to help out, especially if it's a family member that's accessing your stuff without permission.
Thanks! I’m a bit hesitant since I don’t have an Apple Store nearby, but I might try that. Might be my best option.
If you’re trying to sign in on a new device, keep in mind that you’ll need to enter the 2FA code that pops up on your iPhone. So it could be tricky if your phone is with someone else.
I don’t even have my own computer right now, just my mom's Samsung phone. I’m worried about losing everything!
I know, right? I’m concerned about how to unlock it again later!
