I'm trying to expand the volume of my disk using some unallocated space, but I'm hitting a roadblock. I've tried applications like Resize-C and Partition Manager, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Have you checked if the unallocated space is next to the volume you're trying to expand? Sometimes, the arrangement of partitions can prevent expansion.
