I'm currently working on a family member's laptop that's been acting up lately. They reset it a few days ago, and until today, it seemed fine. However, now it's stuck in a recovery loop and keeps taking me back to the recovery environment. I've tried a few tutorials but always end up at square one. Here's a list of what I've done:
1. Startup Repair.
2. Disk check (chkdsk) - no errors found.
3. Boot reconstruction using bcdboot (Windows is on the D: partition) - this executed successfully.
4. System file check via offline sfc /scannow - no integrity violations detected.
5. Tried to enter Safe Mode (F4/F5) - it doesn't boot and just returns to the recovery screen.
6. System Restore - no restore points available.
Also, the "Reset this PC" option isn't visible for me. Any suggestions on what I should try next? Thanks in advance!

It'd be helpful to know the exact make and model of the laptop, plus the version of Windows you're using. That could really make a difference in troubleshooting.
You might want to test the hard drive; it could be failing. Check if there are any diagnostic tools available in the BIOS, that could help you figure out if that's the issue.
Thank you for the suggestion!!! I'll look into it!

It's a Positivo laptop, a Brazilian brand. I'm not sure of the exact model number at the moment, but it's running Windows 10.
