Help Needed: Stuck Motherboard Cable While Swapping Parts

I'm in the process of removing my motherboard because I'm upgrading my CPU and RAM, but I'm having a really hard time with this thick cable on the right side (I think it's the 24-pin power connector). No matter how hard I try, it just won't budge! I'm feeling like I need superhuman strength to get it out. Any tips on how to safely remove it?

Glad to hear you finally managed to get it out! That connector can be a real challenge sometimes.

Make sure to press the clip on the connector and give it a good wiggle. It can be really stubborn and a pain to pull out, but with a bit of persistence, it will come free.

That's definitely the 24-pin ATX power connector you're dealing with. It can be pretty tight. Just keep wiggling it gently, and it should eventually pop out without too much hassle.
