Help! Occasional Bluescreens and Sleep Issues with My PC

I'm having some serious issues with my PC and I'm feeling pretty desperate. Lately, I've been dealing with random bluescreen errors, and it's been really frustrating. The trouble started when I noticed that when I woke my PC from sleep, Spotify would skip through songs, the middle mouse scroll drag feature would vanish, and I experienced other glitches. I swapped out my mouse and keyboard and even upgraded my CPU and motherboard, but nothing fixed it. The odd thing is, I discovered that unplugging my microphone during startup seemed to solve the problem.

Now, I'm facing frequent BSODs, but I can't seem to recreate the issue when I take it to a repair shop. I tried doing a fresh Windows installation, but that didn't help either. I lost some minidumps during the reinstall, but I suspect the issue could be tied to the RAM since it began after upgrading my CPU, motherboard, and RAM. I haven't run a memtest yet because I need some guidance on accessing the BIOS first. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve noticed performance issues with my PC too, especially with programs like Chrome and when saving text files, but games run just fine. My BSODs often occur while I’m typing, so it's weird! Maybe there's a common issue we can figure out together?

It seems like your motherboard's BIOS might need an update. Check the ASRock website for the latest version and update it. Also, make sure to update your AMD Chipset Drivers as they can affect system stability. Just be cautious not to download the RAID drivers since they can cause problems. Once you do that, see if the crashes continue.

Thanks for the tip! I actually have trouble accessing the BIOS; it jumps straight to Windows when I try to enter it. Do you know how I might fix that? I saw something on the site about a restart-to-BIOS option, but I'm not sure how to use it.

First off, try to grab those dump files from your system. They’re crucial for figuring out why the bluescreens are happening. If you can get into Windows (or Safe Mode), check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. Once you find them, zip the folder and upload it using a file-hosting service like catbox.moe.
