I recently upgraded my system with a 9800x3d CPU and a 5070ti GPU, while still using my reliable motherboard and RAM. I also added a Corsair RMX 850 PSU. However, I've been experiencing random crashes and complete system reboots without any blue screens of death (BSOD). The event viewer shows the kernel power 41 error, indicating unexpected shutdowns, but I'm unsure where to begin diagnosing the issue. The crashes aren't occurring under heavy load; they seem to happen at random times. I've checked the temperatures, and they're all normal. I've also been facing some odd driver issues with OSRS that cause Runelite to crash. Could these GPU driver problems be responsible for my system reboots? I'm considering replacing the PSU, but I'm outside the return window and would prefer not to deal with an RMA and long downtime. All power connectors are properly secured, and I thought I had a stable undervolt for my CPU, but I might remove that as the next step.

I actually think it’s not your PSU causing the problem, though. If it was, your PC would probably just turn off completely. GPU driver issues can definitely lead to random reboots, and NVIDIA's latest drivers have been known to be problematic. I recommend downgrading to an older version of the drivers to see if that helps. Also, consider removing any hardware tweaks like undervolts or overclocks for now, and definitely check if your BIOS is up to date.
If your temperatures are fine, it's likely that your power supply may be the culprit. Those random crashes can definitely point to it being unstable or faulty.
