I'm having a ton of problems with my PC on Windows 11 (version 25h2 26200.7623) and I really need some help figuring this out before tomorrow evening. My taskbar is weird; some app icons are missing while others show up, and .txt files have lost their icons too. I'm running into 'side-by-side configuration is incorrect' errors when I try to launch certain apps like GitHub desktop and MSI Afterburner. My Wi-Fi just stopped working again—previously had a registry key issue that I fixed, but now I can't get the Wi-Fi to work, even after trying to start the required services. Also, when I try to open Windows help apps, I get an error about missing WebView 2!
I've attempted a bunch of fixes: reinstalling drivers, disabling secure boot, running SFC and DISM, conducting a system restore, and even attempting a repair with the ISO file—none of this has worked. I don't have the option to take my computer to a shop, can't afford to lose any data, and I'm running out of time. If anyone has any suggestions that could help, I'd really appreciate it!

You might not be able to fix everything by tomorrow if those steps haven't worked. A good temporary workaround is to try booting into safe mode and see if any of your programs will run from there. It could buy you some time until you can figure out a better solution.
Make sure to back up your data before trying any major fixes! You don’t want to risk losing files if things go sideways again.
Have you thought about using a USB drive to run something like Linux Mint? You can boot from it and access your files without needing to fix the Windows issues right away. It doesn’t run the Windows apps, but it could help you save your important data.
