I've been experiencing significant performance issues with my laptop lately, particularly in gaming. My frames per second (FPS) have dropped to around 1, which is unplayable. I ran a benchmark test on 3D Mark and noticed that my GPU frequency is stuck at just 210 MHz, while temperatures are around 52 degrees Celsius. I don't have much expertise in this area, but I've tried researching solutions without success. My laptop has an Intel i7-12600 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. I'd appreciate any advice on how to resolve this problem!

It sounds like your GPU might be entering a protection mode due to overheating or power issues. I suggest reaching out to your laptop manufacturer for tech support, as they might need to repair or replace the hardware.
First things first, are you running your games and benchmarks while the laptop is plugged in? Sometimes, laptops will throttle performance if they're running on battery to save power.
