Hey everyone! I recently gave my PC a good clean with an air duster can. I didn't remove any parts, but I'm worried I might have accidentally sprayed some liquid on the components or maybe I plugged something in wrong. Everything looks normal, but my upload speed is really slow now and my ping is high. Any advice would be super helpful!

So, if you used an air duster that had liquid in it, it could be an issue. However, if you weren't focused on holding the can upside down, it shouldn't have been a problem. Is your connection wired or wireless? Also, check if you accidentally removed the antenna and forgot to put it back on, especially if it’s wireless!
First off, is your setup a laptop or a desktop? And are you experiencing these speed issues on WiFi or through an Ethernet cable? Understanding your setup is key here!
It’s a desktop, and I'm using WiFi. Normally, my upload speed is about 15-20 Mbps, but now it’s dropped to 1-4 Kbps!
Just to clarify, when cleaning, did you make sure to handle all components carefully? If you sprayed directly on components, there might be residue. Ensure everything is plugged in correctly, especially your peripherals, as incorrect connections can affect communication with your motherboard and ultimately your network performance.
I did hold the can upside down… is that really a problem?? I have an antenna, but I don’t think I connected it when I set up my PC. How do I even do that?
