Help! Spider-Man 2 on PC Won’t Start Due to Shader Model Issues

I'm having trouble getting Spider-Man 2 to run on my PC. The game keeps displaying an error message that says, "Shader Model support not detected. Please ensure your graphics card supports shader model 6.6 and your graphics driver is up to date." I'm pretty sure my graphics card is up to the task, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I've already tried updating my drivers and restarting my computer, but it still doesn't work. I even looked into changing some settings, but I'm stuck. Can anyone assist me with this?

The software knows best if it can run. What operating system are you on? And what is your graphics card? For a better diagnosis, press Win + R, type dxdiag, and hit Enter. Then check the Display tab for the Feature Levels section. Does it show DirectX 12_2?

Just saying your graphics are capable doesn't help much. How did you determine that? I’d recommend checking your actual GPU specifications against the game requirements.

Make sure you clean install the latest GPU drivers and that Windows is fully updated. If the Feature Levels don't show DirectX 12_2, your GPU might not be fully compatible.

First off, what hardware are you using to run the game? Knowing your specs can help narrow down the issue.
