I'm trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11, and I needed to enable Secure Boot via UEFI Firmware settings. However, I couldn't find those settings following a tutorial, so I attempted another guide to switch from Legacy mode. After that, I restarted my computer and was greeted with a black screen displaying, 'Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press a key.' Now, I can't access the BIOS Setup despite pressing the designated key (Del) or trying others like F11 and various function keys. I'm stuck on this screen and not sure what to do next. Also, I live in Germany, and my system and keyboard are set up in German. Any help would be appreciated!

Your boot menu and BIOS access should work, but it seems like something might be going wrong during the startup process. Given that you're stuck, I recommend checking all cable connections and even reseating your RAM and GPU if you're comfortable with that. Sometimes hardware issues can obstruct BIOS access too.
It sounds like the first step is to revert any changes you made in the BIOS settings. If you can manage to boot back into Windows, you might need to convert your disk to GPT format for the system to boot properly. Check out this guide for help on that: [How to Convert MBR Disk to GPT](https://www.windowscentral.com/how-convert-mbr-disk-gpt-move-bios-uefi-windows-10). Best of luck!

I get that you're stuck, and it sounds really frustrating. But have you tried pressing the BIOS key repeatedly right as you turn on the PC? Sometimes it takes a bit of timing to get in.
