I'm new to using Visual Studio Code and I've run into a frustrating issue. Whenever I try to open the program, all I see is a blank black screen. I've attempted to use the `--disable-gpu` flag, but that hasn't resolved the issue. Can anyone offer some assistance?

First off, it might help to just uninstall and then reinstall Visual Studio Code. Usually, the setup is pretty straightforward, but make sure you're downloading the right version for your hardware. For instance, if you have an AMD processor, avoid the ARM version. If reinstalling doesn't solve the problem, I'd need a bit more info like your operating system and the version of VS Code you're trying to use. A screenshot would also be super helpful!

Could you share what operating system you're on? Sometimes a fresh install does the trick. It’s worth a shot to completely uninstall VS Code and reinstall it to see if that clears things up!

I get that tech issues can be really annoying! Before you assume it's on your end, remember that even experienced users can hit snags sometimes. Instead of worrying if you're 'not good' with computers, focus on finding a fix with the right help—if you share more specifics like what OS you're using, you might find a solution quicker!

Thanks for the encouragement! It really helps to know I'm not alone. I'm using Windows 10, by the way.
