Hey everyone! I'm brand new to building PCs and need some guidance on choosing the right components for my setup. I've decided to go with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor because it was recommended by a friend, and since I'm just a casual gamer making the leap from console to PC, I think it's a good fit. I also want to get a 180Hz monitor for a smoother experience. My total budget for the complete system is ₱50,000, and I'm planning to spend around ₱15,000 for the monitor. Any advice on compatible parts would really help out!

For the CPU cooler, I’d say just stick with the stock cooler that comes with the Ryzen 5 5600X. It’s usually enough for most casual setups and helps save some budget for other components.

For your RAM, I’d suggest getting 2x16GB DDR4 sticks at 3200MHz. For the GPU, look at either the Radeon RX 6600 or the RTX 3060 12GB. You’ll definitely want at least a 1TB NVMe SSD for storage. A B550 motherboard from MSI or ASUS would work great with the Ryzen 5 5600X. Also, grab a 650W power supply that’s 80 Plus Bronze rated, and pick a case you like!

I’d actually recommend the 6700XT—it worked wonders for my 5600X until I upgraded to a 5700X3D!
