I'm frustrated because my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16" just doesn't seem to deliver the performance I expect for gaming. Despite having solid specs like an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, 32 GB RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 7-5800H, I find myself needing to run nearly every game in performance mode. The worst part is the constant fps drops; I can handle 60 fps, but when it falls to 30, it really ruins the experience. I'd appreciate any tips to improve this situation!

It sounds like overheating might be the issue. Laptops often struggle to maintain a steady fps when they're running hot. Have you checked the temperatures while gaming? You might want to clean the fans or ensure the laptop is well-ventilated.

What's an acceptable temperature for gaming? I usually see mine sitting around 85-87°C.
