Help! Windows 11 Stuck in Boot Loop After Secure Boot Changes

Hey everyone, I really need some help. My Windows 11 is currently stuck in a boot loop. It started after I tried to enable Secure Boot for Valorant. In the process, I was advised to disable CSM, which led me to convert my SSD from MBR to GPT using MBR2GPT.EXE. I confirmed that the SSD is now GPT, but when I try to boot into UEFI instead of BIOS, my computer just loops the fans for a few seconds and then shuts off—no display or anything. Here's what I've already tried: resetting the CMOS battery, reseating the GPU and RAM, checking a few pins, and even attempting to boot from a USB stick with Windows 11 media. My specs are an Intel i5 7400 CPU, RTX 2070 8GB GPU, 16GB RAM, and a 240GB NVMe SSD.

It sounds like a frustrating situation! First off, you might want to try clearing the CMOS again but for a longer period—sometimes it takes a bit for the settings to reset properly. If that doesn’t help, see if you can get your PC to recognize the bootable USB media by hitting the appropriate key to access the boot menu immediately after powering on. It may not go to BIOS, but you might be able to boot from USB if that option appears.

I tried clearing the CMOS for a bit longer, but it still doesn't get me to the BIOS or show anything on the display when trying the USB.

Yeah, it can be risky changing those BIOS settings. Just a reminder to always have your important stuff backed up. That said, if your computer won’t show a display or let you into BIOS at all, it could possibly be a hardware issue. Have you double-checked all connections and made sure your GPU is seated properly? Sometimes even a loose cable can cause boot issues.
