Help! Windows 11 Won’t Install on My New PC

I've just built a new PC with an ASRock B850M Pro RS Wifi motherboard, an AMD Radeon 9060xt graphics card, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 7600 processor. I watched some tutorials to set up Windows but didn't have another PC handy. I tried to use my Chromebook to convert the Windows 11 .iso file to a .bin file, and then used the Chromebooks recovery utility to load it onto a USB drive. When I plugged the USB into my new PC and tried to boot, it took me to a screen asking for a driver. After downloading and transferring all necessary drivers onto another USB, I finally found one that worked, but when I tried to install Windows, I got an error message. I've attempted this multiple times, but it hasn't worked. Can anyone suggest which drivers I need or how to resolve this issue?

It sounds like you're running into some driver issues. One thing to check is what the specific error message is that you see after hitting install. That could give us more clues about what’s going wrong. Also, be sure to check if you've made it past the network connection step before the error happens.

Yeah, if you can share the exact error message, that would help a lot! Everyone here can better guide you if we know what’s going wrong.

Could be something like the IaStorE.sys issue. Let’s see that error message!

If the Media Creation Tool isn't an option, why not try creating the install USB at your local library? They often have computers available for that kind of stuff, and it’s usually pretty straightforward!

Great idea! I’ll give that a shot right now.

Have you thought about using the official Windows Media Creation Tool instead? It’s a much cleaner way to create your install USB and could save you a lot of hassle.

I might have to find a way to do that since my Chromebook doesn't support it.

Yeah, libraries often have PCs where you can run it too!
