Hey everyone! My friend is looking to build a gaming PC with a budget between $1200 and $1400. He wants to play modern FPS games like Valorant, PUBG, Apex, and some single-player games like GTA V. He's also considering running Discord and maybe streaming something in the background while he plays. He prefers higher refresh rates over resolution. Below is the list of components he's considering, but he's open to suggestions if you think there's a better combination of parts that would maximize performance for the budget. Here's the current Part List: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YPgDXR). Thanks for your help!

Honestly, if your budget can stretch a bit, I recommend looking at this build instead: [Budget Build Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w6PtqH). If you're sticking to your budget, maybe consider this alternative: [Alternative Build Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HnMJ2x). The Ryzen 7600 non-X comes with a decent stock cooler, but if you want to upgrade, a dual tower cooler from Thermalright is only about $35. Also, the motherboard choice could use some improvement for just $10 more! You can save on RAM too, there's one that's similarly spec'd for $10 less. The NVMe you picked is solid, but it might not be worth the extra price. The case and PSU choices can definitely improve too—there are better options for the money. Plus, a 1080p monitor in 2025 might not be the best investment if you're looking for longevity. Let me know if you want more detailed suggestions!

Yeah, this build isn't the best. There's definitely room for improvement! Maybe if you can provide more specifics on what’s lacking, we can help further? I hate seeing downvotes without constructive feedback!

I have to say, this build has some real flaws in it. Can you share why you think it's acceptable? It might help to pinpoint the issues here a bit more clearly, please?

I appreciate the feedback, but would love to know specifically what parts are causing issues!
