Help with BIOS Issues on MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI

I'm experiencing some frustrating stability problems with my MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI motherboard. I recently updated the BIOS from version 7E24v18 to 7E24v1D2, and since then, my PC has been restarting while I'm gaming, even when the load doesn't seem too high. I have a Ryzen 5 7600X, RTX 3080, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz. Initially, after the BIOS update, everything seemed alright until I launched a game and the system restarted after a minute. The DRAM LED on the board lights up in yellow, indicating memory issues. I've also noticed that my previous settings for Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) can't be configured like before. I've tried various tweaks, such as disabling Memory Context Restore and Power Down to stabilize the RAM at 6000MHz, but I had issues even at the default 4800MHz speeds before this. I've set up some manual overclocking for the CPU too, but the BIOS sometimes freezes when adjusting RAM speeds or PBO settings. Considering this issue, should I revert to the previous BIOS version or stick with the current one?

It sounds like the new BIOS might not be playing well with your RAM settings or CPU undervolt. Have you tried running a memory test with OCCT or Memtest86? They can help identify if the RAM is unstable. Just make sure to push the fans to 100% to keep temperatures down during testing. Also, some users find disabling Memory Context Restore can help with stability; it seems to be your only solid workaround right now.

After lots of trial and error, I had to keep MCR off too. My system was crashing even with stock speeds when MCR was on. It's definitely a tricky BIOS situation!

Yeah, I just turned MCR back on to test it, and my PC restarted with just the desktop open! Turning it off again has worked fine since.
