Help with Blue Screen Crashes on New PC

I just got a new prebuilt PC yesterday and it keeps encountering blue screen errors. I managed to complete the setup and installed the latest drivers, which fixed one issue but now the blue screens have shifted to a different error message: something about 'kernel lock entry leaked on termination.' I'm not running anything intensive, and it crashes about 5-10 minutes after I start using it. Any advice on how to resolve this?

The 'kernel lock entry leaked on termination' error could often be related to RAM problems. Try reseating the RAM modules and cleaning the pins with isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip. Also, ensure there’s no dust in the RAM slots. Additionally, Nvidia drivers can be problematic; consider uninstalling Nvidia Experience with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and try installing an older, stable driver. This usually helps resolve kernel errors.

I just encountered a 'system service exception' error too. What's up with that?

That could be another driver issue or a problem with your RAM as well. Make sure everything is seated properly and consider running a memory diagnostic.

It sounds like you're dealing with a complex issue. First off, check for any dump files that can help us analyze the BSODs. If you can get into Windows, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. If you find them, zip the folder and upload it to a file-sharing service like mediafire.com. If there are no dump files, follow a guide to set up Small Memory Dumps, as those provide helpful info for troubleshooting.
