Hey everyone! I'm completely new to PC building and I'm planning to put together a budget PC that can run Assetto Corsa. I've put together a list of parts using PC Part Picker that I think meet the minimum or recommended system requirements. However, the total cost is surprisingly low compared to other builds I've seen, which makes me wonder if I'm missing any crucial components. I've already got a monitor, so I just need help figuring out if my parts list is complete. Thanks for any advice!

You've picked some really outdated hardware here. The Core 2 Duo and the GPU you're looking at are both very old tech, and you've completely overlooked a motherboard! You definitely want something more recent.
The Core 2 Duo is over 20 years old at this point, and it's basically considered e-waste. I recommend looking for something more modern to ensure you have a better gaming experience.
Thanks, shows how ignorant I am. What should I look for?
It looks like you've missed a motherboard in your parts list. Also, any motherboard compatible with the Core 2 Duo won't work with the SSD you've picked. Honestly, trying to hit just the minimum specs isn’t a great idea since it can lead to a pretty disappointing gaming experience. You could find a used PC for around $200 that would outperform what you’ve spec'd so far!
Good to know, thanks!

Sorry, totally new to this. Do you have recommendations?
