Help with DisplayPort Cable Fitting into GPU

I recently bought a new PC, but I'm having trouble with the DisplayPort cable fitting into my GPU. The angle of the GPU in relation to the back of the case means that the cable doesn't insert fully – there's about a 1mm gap. I can see both monitors detected and they're running at their maximum refresh rates (240Hz for the primary and 144Hz for the secondary). Is this an issue I need to address, or can I leave it as is? Also, are there any DisplayPort cables designed to fit better in tight spaces?

You could try opening your case and loosening the screws holding the GPU. Then, gently push it down slightly to see if that clears the blockage. Just make sure to tighten it back up afterwards. You definitely want that DisplayPort to click in securely to avoid any issues later on.

But won't that twist the PCIe board a bit if the GPU is angled? I'm worried about bending it.

It sounds like your GPU might not be seated correctly in the case, which could be preventing the DisplayPort from going all the way in. Just double-check if the GPU is properly connected to the motherboard, as that could be causing the issue.

I checked it, and the motherboard seems to be fine. I don't think I can lower it more to allow for the cable to fit properly.

Could you post some pictures of the setup? That might help diagnose the problem further.
