Help with Laptop BSOD When Setting Processor Power Management

I keep having a Blue Screen of Death error or my laptop freezes whenever I try to set the maximum and minimum processor settings to 100 in the power management options. My laptop is a Bravo 15 A4DDR. The error in my event viewer mentions that the application-specific permission settings don't allow Local Activation permission for a certain COM Server application. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

To tackle the BSOD issue, you should start by checking for crash logs, known as dump files. If you can boot into Windows or access it in Safe Mode, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump and look for any dump files. If you find any, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site. You can use catbox.moe or mediafire.com for this purpose. Having multiple dump files can help with the analysis, so follow the guide linked in the comments to adjust your dump settings, enabling small memory dumps to get more consistent logs.

It sounds frustrating! Aside from checking the dump files, make sure all your drivers and Windows updates are current. Sometimes, conflicts with outdated drivers can lead to stability issues. If everything is updated and the problem persists, you might want to consider resetting your power settings to defaults and see if that helps.
