Help with Linux Mint Installation Issues on Dual-Boot Setup

I'm new to Linux and attempting to triple-boot my test machine, which currently has Windows 10 and Windows 11, by adding Linux Mint. I downloaded the Mint ISO and used Rufus to create a bootable flash drive formatted with GPT and Large FAT32. It booted successfully, but the installer wouldn't proceed because the drive was encrypted with BitLocker. After decrypting the drive in Windows 11, I tried the installation again but encountered several errors, including missing files such as mmx64.efi and issues with MokManager. I've reformatted the installation drive and recreated it, but the same errors keep happening. I'm really stuck and would appreciate any guidance!

You might want to check out a video by Rob Braxman about Secure Boot and BitLocker; it has some useful insights. However, for your situation, if you keep running into those errors, a complete reinstall of the Mint setup might be your best bet. It could clear any installation hiccups.

It sounds like a Secure Boot issue. Try disabling Secure Boot in your UEFI settings. This could help you get past the installation errors. Just a heads up, disabling Secure Boot shouldn’t affect your Windows 11 installation, but it's always good to check your setup afterwards. Also, regarding third-party codecs, some distributions may allow you to install those after installation despite Secure Boot being off. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
