Hey everyone! I'm having a tough time with my PC crashing due to a Memory Management BSOD. Here's what's going on:
When I put my RAM into slot 1, the system boots up but eventually crashes with a Memory Management blue screen. However, if I try inserting the same RAM into slot 2, I don't even get a display on the monitor.
I've reset the BIOS and run commands like sfc /scannow and DISM, which didn't find any issues with my system files. So right now, it seems like I might be dealing with either a faulty RAM stick or a defective motherboard slot.
I'm wondering if just replacing the RAM could solve this problem completely, or should I also be concerned about a potential motherboard issue?

Do you have just one stick of RAM? Sometimes motherboards can be finicky about having RAM in the 'wrong' slot. If you have multiple sticks, try them one by one in slot 1. If it crashes with both sticks, it's likely the motherboard or CPU causing the issue.
It sounds like you might indeed have a RAM issue, but to get a better grasp on it, try running memtest86 or memtest86+. That can help diagnose if the RAM itself is faulty. And definitely look into those dump files, they can give useful insights into the BSOD cause.
I can't even get into my desktop or safe mode, though.

I only have one RAM stick. With it in the first slot, I'm getting the memory management BSOD, and when it's in the second slot, there’s no signal to the monitor.
