I just got a Cyborg 15 gaming laptop yesterday, specifically this model: https://www.itech.ph/product/msi-cyborg-15-b13wekg-639ph-15-6-fhd-intel-core-i5-13420h-16gb-ram-rtx-5050-512gb-ssd/. Yesterday, I played Oblivion Remastered on medium settings, and everything ran smoothly. Today, after a short session, I got a warning about missing DirectX11 files. I found that my save game and some other files were deleted from the Recycle Bin, likely because my brother was snooping around. Now, when I try to play, the game is super laggy and freezes often, even on low settings. I'm concerned because my warranty probably doesn't cover this kind of issue, and we're limited on internet access since we're using mobile data while waiting for a broadband refund. Any help would be appreciated!

Be careful with your brother around the laptop! If it gets worse, you might need to check if there’s a hardware issue. Just try the driver reinstall first and see how it goes.
If reinstalling the drivers doesn't work, consider resetting the whole laptop. Sometimes that can clear up hidden issues. But make sure to back up your important files first!
First off, you might want to reinstall the NVIDIA drivers. It could help fix those DirectX issues. Just go to the control panel and uninstall the current drivers, then download the Game Ready drivers from NVIDIA’s website. That could help a lot!
Yeah, using the NVIDIA app to install the Game Ready driver is also a good option. Just make sure to uninstall the old drivers first.

Should I use the NVIDIA app instead? I'm a bit anxious about messing things up since it’s my first gaming laptop.
