I recently built my first PC, and while it works great most of the time, it randomly freezes. When this happens, I can only restart it by holding down the power button, or sometimes it restarts automatically but doesn't provide any error details. It seems to freeze when I'm gaming, but since I mostly use it for that, I'm not sure if that's the only time it happens. I've experienced freezes while playing Destiny 2, Battlefield 6, and Arc Raiders. I'm not very experienced with troubleshooting, but I've tried a few things like adjusting some settings I found online, running memory diagnostics (which found no issues), and updating the BIOS to version 17.03. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel i9 14900K
- GPU: ASRock AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Challenger
- Motherboard: NZXT N7 Z790
- RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000
- SSD: Samsung 990 PRO 4TB
- Cooler: NZXT Kraken Plus 360
- Power Supply: CORSAIR RMX Series RM1000x
- Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 25H2
Any advice or steps you could suggest would be really appreciated as I want to ensure my investment lasts and functions well!

Have you checked the Event Viewer for any error messages? Sometimes that can point you to the specific hardware or software that's causing issues. Also, make sure your BIOS is up to date, which you mentioned you've already done. Here's a video that can guide you through checking for errors in Event Viewer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWrZPCxT4OE
Sounds like a frustrating issue! Since you've already run memory diagnostics with no problems, it might be worth looking into your power supply or graphics card. Make sure your GPU drivers are fully updated and consider running some stress tests to see if anything fails under load. If the freezes persist, you might also want to check for overheating components.
