Help with Paramount+ Connectivity Issues on My TV

I've been having trouble with Paramount+ on my TV. I can access it just fine on both my phone and computer, but when I try to use it on my TV, it tells me that it needs an update. However, when I try to download the update, it says that I don't have an internet connection, even though my TV is connected to the internet. Can anyone help me figure this out?

It sounds like a frustrating situation! A few more details could help diagnose the issue. What brand and model is your TV? Also, what firmware version are you running? How's the TV connected to the internet—Wi-Fi or wired? It might be worth checking if other internet features on your TV are working to confirm your connection. When you attempt to download the update, does it try to download and then show the message, or does it fail to download right away? Lastly, what's the exact error message you're getting?

I had a similar problem with my TV. The update didn’t seem to download at all, and I kept getting connection errors despite being online. It's a good idea to do a power cycle on your TV and router—turn them both off, unplug for a minute, then reboot. Sometimes that helps clear up connection issues. Also, check if your TV has any pending software updates or if there’s a new version of Paramount+ available specifically for your device.
