I'm experiencing significant ping fluctuations when playing online games on my Windows 11 PC, which has an RTX 4060 and an AMD Ryzen 5600X CPU. Typically, my ping ranges from 150 to 300, but after about 2-6 minutes of gameplay, it spikes up to 999 randomly. This inconsistency makes it difficult to control my character well, as even slightly holding down a button can lead to unwanted crashes into walls. If you need any additional details to diagnose this issue better, just let me know. Thanks!

Having a ping fluctuation like that can definitely throw off your game. It sounds like your connection might be shared with others or being heavily used during your gameplay. Make sure no one else is streaming or downloading stuff at the same time, as that can eat up bandwidth.
150 ping can be quite high for some games, especially competitive ones. Have you considered if you're on WiFi? Those numbers are usually associated with wireless connections. Since you're on Ethernet, check if anything else on your network is hogging the upload/download.
Yeah, I'd check that! A lot of devices connected can slow things down.
Yeah, if you have multiple people using the internet, that can definitely impact your gaming. It's worth checking!
