Help with RAM and Motherboard Compatibility

Hey everyone! I have a bit of a newbie question about hardware compatibility. I recently purchased an i5-14400F processor along with an H610M-HDV/M.2 + D5 motherboard, and I've been advised to upgrade my RAM to the PATRIOT VIPER VENOM DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 kit. My motherboard specifications say it supports 6000MHz RAM, but I'm having issues getting it to work. I noticed that instead of having an XMP profile, I have two EXPO 2 profiles, but neither boots successfully and I get a system boot failure message. The RAM is currently running at 4800MT/s. Am I missing something in the BIOS settings, or is it really just a matter of enabling XMP and expecting it to work? Should I consider returning the RAM if I can't get it to run at its intended speed? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🙏

Which specific RAM kit did you get? It helps to have the exact model. Sometimes, the XMP profiles can be unstable depending on the motherboard. You could also try manually adjusting the settings in BIOS to overclock the RAM, but be aware that you may have limited options with your motherboard. Making sure your BIOS is updated can also help. If all else fails, think about returning the RAM and picking something from your motherboard's compatibility list to ensure a smooth setup.

I bought it from this link: https://www.topocentras.lt/atmintis-patriot-pvv532g600c30k-viper-venom-ddr5-32gb-2x16gb-6000mhz-cl30-xmp-3-0.html. I've also tried updating to the latest BIOS.

When you try to boot with the XMP or EXPO profiles enabled, what happens? Are there any error messages? Just a heads up, DDR5 speeds can be tricky to get stable, especially on certain motherboards. You might want to tweak some settings manually to see if you can get that 6000MT/s speed to work. It shouldn't be impossible with your CPU.

When I try to boot with both profiles, I just get a system boot failure; that's it.
