Help with Random Artifacts on Laptop’s Integrated Graphics

I'm having trouble with my MSI GE66 Raider laptop, which has an Intel i7-12700h and an RTX 3070ti. When I use it in integrated graphics mode, I sometimes see weird artifacts like random rectangles and missing letters. I've linked some images to show what I mean.

This issue seems to have started in 2023, and initially, I just ignored it by switching to discrete graphics mode. However, I decided to tackle it recently, but I've had no luck. Here's what I've tried so far:

1. Booted into safe mode without any artifacts appearing.
2. Attempted a clean boot, but the artifacts were still there.
3. Ran a memory test that passed without problems.
4. Uninstalled both Intel and NVIDIA drivers with DDU and did a clean install, but it didn't help.
5. Disabled multi-plane overlay (MPO) as well, with no change.

Microsoft support mentioned this might be a hardware issue with the integrated GPU, but they reassured me that it wouldn't affect the CPU. I'd really appreciate any advice or solutions from anyone who might know what's going on!

Have you also updated the IME drivers? Sometimes it helps to make sure all related drivers are in synch, especially if you're dealing with unexpected display issues.

IME? When I did the clean uninstall of the Intel drivers, it removed all the related software too. Should I try reinstalling them separately?

That’s strange. I haven’t had problems with my setup. The integrated graphics should be functioning properly. Have you tried looking into Windows updates or BIOS updates? Sometimes, those can resolve unusual hardware conflicts.

Honestly, I've heard the 3070ti has had its share of issues, especially in integrated mode. But if your laptop runs fine in discrete mode, then it’s probably specific to the integrated setup. Have you checked your laptop’s thermal performance? Sometimes overheating can lead to graphical glitches.
