Help with Random BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC about a month ago, and starting from June, I've been facing random Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors with the message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I've already attempted to update my drivers (even though one was missing), checked my RAM for issues (no problems found), and tried troubleshooting through the PC console. Despite this, my PC still crashed again an hour ago while I wasn't doing anything intensive. I installed Bluescreenview, but I'm not sure what the results mean (here's a link to the log: [link](https://imgur.com/a/FeNoyre)). I read online that this error could relate to unauthorized memory usage, but I'm unsure how to proceed without resorting to a complete reset, which I'd like to avoid if possible. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Additionally, I've got the DMP error files ready for review at this link: [DMP files](https://www.mediafire.com/file/o9udi2la0att8bx/BSOD_dmp.zip/file).

Before diving into any drastic measures, I’d recommend updating your motherboard BIOS. If you can access the BIOS menus without issues, grab the latest version from the MSI site [here](https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-GAMING-PLUS-MAX/support). After that, download the correct AMD Chipset Drivers from [this link](https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/chipsets/am4/b450.html). Stick with the main Chipset Driver installer; other versions can cause problems. This process could significantly reduce stability issues. Let me know if the crashes continue after that!

It sounds like you're dealing with a tricky issue. First off, make sure to collect those dump files, as they’re crucial for diagnosing BSOD errors. If you can boot into Windows, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any files. Once you find them, zip the folder and upload it to a file sharing site like MediaFire or Catbox. Having multiple dump files will help because each BSOD can provide different clues. If you haven’t already, check this guide for creating minidumps: [link](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html). Let me know what you find!

I totally get your concern—we all want to keep our PCs safe! As for stability, if navigating BIOS is smooth without any glitches, you're likely good there. About the BIOS update, newer isn’t always better; some older versions might fix certain issues. Make sure to read the change logs to see the specific updates. It's wise to take precautions, especially when it comes to something as essential as your setup.
