Help with RDP Connection Error on Windows 11

I'm having trouble connecting to an RDP session on the same device. It was working fine this morning, but now I keep getting an error message saying, "The number of connections to this computer is limited and all connections are in use right now." I've been using it without any issues for over a month. I did follow a tutorial for setup, but I can't seem to solve this problem. Any suggestions?

If you're still stuck, consider looking into your RDP settings or reviewing the specific tutorial you followed; it might have some steps that could be revisited. Also, sometimes the issue can relate to Windows licensing or group policies, so checking those might be worth it.

Have you tried the classic fix of restarting your device? It might seem simple, but sometimes that can clear up connection issues. Also, check if the Remote Desktop Services (TermService) is running properly; restarting that service can sometimes help too.

Yes, I have restarted multiple times and checked the service.

Make sure to check if there are any other active connections running. You can do this by running the 'quser' command in the command prompt on your target machine. It's possible another session is still active, which would cause this limitation error.

I checked and there are no other devices connected.
