Hey everyone, I'm facing a really frustrating issue with my computer. It all started when I tried to open Paint, but I got an error message. Now, it doesn't even show an error anymore; my cursor just turns into a blue loading wheel for a few seconds, and the same thing happens when I try to open Xbox.
When I attempt to reinstall Paint or Xbox from the Microsoft Store, I get this error code: "0X800706D9". Also, when I try to sign in to the Store, it shows a brief "just a moment" message and then just closes.
I've already tried a bunch of solutions: I ran sfc /scannow with no errors found, used the DISM tool, and checked with chkdsk, but nothing helped. I even tried the wsreset command and attempted to install Xbox through the browser, but the launcher keeps closing on its own. I also gave tweaking.com's Windows repair a shot, and even tried using a tool called "WindowsUnfukker," but that didn't work either.
I'm really at my wits' end here! I've spent hours trying different fixes, and I just want to get Paint back. I'm worried this might be a sign of a bigger issue, but I can still use other apps like Notepad just fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried checking the Windows Accessories? You can find it here: C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsAccessories. After that, you might want to uninstall and reinstall MS Paint. Just search for 'Manage optional features' from the Start menu, find Microsoft Paint, uninstall it, restart your computer, and then add it back. That might help you get Paint up and running again!
I checked the accessories files, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for there. Any tips?

I'll give that a shot when I get back to my computer and let you know how it goes!
