I'm trying to open the BIOS on my Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 14ARH7 to set up Linux, but I've been pressing F1, F2, F12, Del, and even trying combinations with the Fn key. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone give me some advice on how to access the BIOS?

Stop smashing the keys! Just pay attention when you turn on your laptop; a message usually pops up telling which key to press for BIOS access. If that doesn't work, a quick Google search for "BIOS access key for Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro" should give you the answer.

Yeah, I've noticed that too! But sometimes it’s hard to catch those messages. Googling is definitely a safer bet.

For your Lenovo, it should be F2 or Fn + F2 to get into BIOS. Alternatively, if you're already in Windows, you can go to your settings, look for reset options, and find the option to boot into advanced startup. From there, you should see the UEFI firmware option that lets you enter the BIOS.
