I'm looking for advice on how to use a high DPI mouse effectively in FPS games. I have large hands and previously used a Roccat Kona XTD, which I liked, but I struggle with precision at high DPI settings (2000 and above). No matter how slowly I move my hand, the cursor tends to jerk, making it hard to aim accurately for headshots. Is there a mouse or technique that can help me address this issue? Thanks!

You don't need to set your mouse to high DPI to achieve precision. Most people actually get better results between 300 to 1200 DPI. While higher DPI settings can seem appealing, they can lead to less precision because your movements translate to screen pixels differently based on your sensitivity settings. Try adjusting your settings to around 1200 to 1600 DPI instead to see if that helps with your aim. Plus, if you move your arm more on a large mousepad and use subtle wrist movements for precision shots, it might work better for you!

Thanks for the insight! I realize now that my technique might be the issue, not the mouse. Time to adjust my settings!
