I'm looking for a way to activate Office 365 apps on a Windows Server without having to go through Internet Explorer for the sign-in process. Even though IE isn't set as the default browser, the activation UI still opens an IE window. Is there a workaround for this?

Why are you trying to activate Office on a server anyway?
Have you checked if Shared Computer Activation is enabled? That might help streamline the process.
It sounds like you might need to provide more context. Are you using individual VMs for each user, or is it an RDS setup? Knowing the licensing and usage scenario would help others give better advice.
You may be facing issues due to how Office was deployed. Consider using a MAK key deployment on a terminal server; it could simplify your setup and reduce maintenance work.
Can M365 user licenses activate Office using MAK keys?
It's not RDS. We're running automated tasks that need to launch apps like Outlook without user interaction. Manual activation adds too many steps that interfere with our automation.
