I just built my first PC and I'm super excited, but I've hit a snag with the lighting. My setup is pretty dim, with only my GPU logo giving off any light. I spent some extra cash on a cool-looking AIO CPU cooler that unfortunately doesn't have RGB lights, so it's hard to appreciate its design in the dark case. I'm looking for ways to introduce some RGB without having to swap out my existing fans or shell out for new parts. I've got a NZXT H5 Flow 2024 case and an ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard. Any suggestions on how I can add lighting without purchasing new components?

If you're after some light, you'll need to get a product designed to illuminate things. One option is to pick up a simple LED light strip with its own controller. Unfortunately, it's hard to avoid buying something if you want to add RGB since your current setup doesn't have any.
Light strips would be perfect for your situation! Just plug them into your RGB header and position them where they can shine on your cooler and add some flair to your setup.
I think the easiest solution for adding RGB would be to replace your fans. I get why you might think they’re expensive, but there are actually affordable options out there, like the Thermalright TL-C12C fans. They're pretty reasonable and will light up your case!
I found a three-pack of Thermalright RGB 120 fans for under $20. They’re really not that expensive, so maybe reconsider your earlier thoughts on pricing?
Another option could be downloading software to control lighting if your components support it. There are plenty of tutorials online to follow along, so you can give it a go! Just search for RGB control setups.
You can find a cheap light strip for around $4 on AliExpress. It’s an easy fix and won't break the bank!
I guess I need to check out more options because I focused on a few pricey ones. But I'm still hesitant since I really don’t want a mix of RGB case fans with a black cooler.
