How Can I Boost My Passion for Coding?

I'm a Korean student who's been studying web development for over a year. I feel like I'm decent at coding, and I try to keep practicing every day, often tackling concepts that I'm not entirely comfortable with. However, I find that after about four hours of coding, I run out of energy and struggle to concentrate. I'm looking for tips on how to maintain my passion and motivation while dealing with these energy dips. Thanks for any suggestions!

Just remember to chill and take your time. Maybe grab a gummy or a snack to help you relax while you work!

I find that getting up and walking around for 10 minutes can help a lot. Then I sit down for another 10 minutes without doing anything. Plus, focusing on projects that genuinely interest you can really help keep the momentum going.

I totally get where you're coming from! After a few hours of coding, my brain feels like mush too. What really helped me was taking actual breaks every hour—not just scrolling through my phone. I get up, maybe do some pushups, or just stare out the window for five minutes. Also, switching between different types of work helps keep things fresh, so if you're focusing on frontend stuff, try some backend or database tasks when you hit that wall.

When I hit that wall, I usually take a 15-30 minute nap or do absolutely nothing for a few minutes. It really helps clear my mind! Hope that works for you too. 🙂

Have you considered building something that truly interests you? Instead of copying tutorials or making clones, try creating a real app that aligns with your passion. It can be a great way to stay motivated and energized!
