How Can I Check If My PC Meets Windows 11 Requirements?

I'm not very tech-savvy, and although my friend helped me build this PC last year, I'm unsure if it really meets the Windows 11 system requirements. Here are my specs: I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, 16GB of RAM, a 932 GB SSD, and an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card. My OS is 64-bit.

I've read that to ensure my PC is compatible, I need to enable TPM 2.0 in the BIOS, turn off CSM, enable secure boot, make sure my motherboard is set to UEFI-only mode, and set my SSD to GPT. But since I only have this one computer, I'm worried about messing something up. Could someone guide me on how to check and change these settings safely? Thanks a lot!

Your concern is valid, but don't worry too much! Just take it step by step. To enable TPM, you'll probably find it listed under Security settings in the BIOS. Secure boot is often in the Boot section. Just ensure your SSD is in GPT format by checking it in Disk Management in Windows, but you might need to format it if it’s not—so back up your data first!

Yeah, those settings all need to be adjusted in the BIOS. Just be careful when you're making changes; you don’t want to accidentally affect anything else. Generally, there are guides online for your specific motherboard model. For enabling GPT on your SSD, you might need to use a command in Windows to convert it, but if you’re unsure, look for a guide that suits your setup!

To check and change those settings, you'll need to access your BIOS. Just shut down your PC, power it back on, and hold the DEL key (or F2, it varies by motherboard). In the BIOS menus, you should find options for TPM, secure boot, and CSM. Your motherboard manual will be super helpful here; it usually explains where to find these settings in detail. Also, the SSD GPT setting might be under the storage configuration menu.
