I'm trying to clean up my laptop by uninstalling certain applications, but I notice that some related files linger even after I've uninstalled them. I've heard that just using the uninstall function doesn't always get rid of everything, and I've also tried tools like Revo Uninstaller but still can't get a full cleanup. Does anyone know a reliable method or tool to completely erase all files associated with a specific software or application?

Have you tried using the Shift + Delete shortcut for any leftover files? It gets rid of files without sending them to the recycle bin. But I get your frustration; sometimes those hidden app files stubbornly stick around. If they’re not showing up in your regular file manager, they might be lurking in the system's AppData folder.

You could also check for files in the hidden directories like 'C:ProgramData' or 'C:UsersYourUsernameAppData'. Make sure to show hidden files in your file explorer settings!
