I'm dealing with a ton of viruses on my Windows 11 PC, and it's really messing with my performance. I want to completely wipe everything and perform a clean install, but it seems like the viruses are blocking me from doing a manual factory reset. Whenever I try to use the "Reset this PC" option, the reset button isn't available. I also ended up installing some antivirus programs that seem to be messing with Windows Defender. How can I get a fresh start?

I've had similar issues before, and I've found that restore points or other methods don't really help when there are so many problems. A clean install from a USB drive is often the best way to go.
In situations where the OS is too compromised, I usually boot from a USB with Ventoy and the Windows 11 ISO. It allows me to format the entire SSD and do a fresh install directly. That way, I'm sure everything is clean.
If the viruses are causing issues, you might want to consider using a Windows USB installer to format your hard drive. Just make sure you're left with only one partition before proceeding with the Windows installation. It’ll give you a clean start without any of the malware messing things up.
