I'm working from home and using a Google Chromebox, but I'm having trouble setting up a third monitor. I have enough ports for two monitors, but I was advised to get a Dell USB-C multiport adapter, which I have, yet I still can't get the third monitor to connect. I don't have much experience with computers, so I'm feeling pretty stuck. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure your Chromebox supports USB-C video output. Not all devices do, and also check what the maximum number of displays it can support is. If you can share the model and specs, we could give you more specific advice!
First off, you should verify if your Chromebox can handle three displays. Many models are limited to two, regardless of how many ports you have. You can check this in your Chromebox display settings to see how many monitors it detects.
