Hey everyone! I recently picked up a DVD player from a Facebook marketplace deal. The player uses RCA cables, but my TV doesn't have those inputs. I bought an RCA to HDMI adapter, but my TCL TV still can't detect the DVD player. Any tips to help me out?

You could also consider getting a DVD player with HDMI output instead. It’ll give you the best picture quality without any hassle! Plus, if you have any other outputs like Component or S-Video, those are better choices too.
Just a heads up, I noticed in one of your pics that the connectors might not be pushed in all the way. Make sure they’re firmly connected, especially the center pin of the white cable—bad contact could definitely cause this issue.
First off, make sure the DVD player is actually sending out a signal. Check if the lights are on and if it tries to play a DVD—those are good signs! If everything seems fine, it might be a different issue altogether.
