How can I control my case fans and Corsair devices on Linux?

Hey everyone! I just installed my first Linux distro, Cachyos, and I'm really enjoying it so far. However, I'm facing a problem with controlling my case fans and Corsair devices. I found out there isn't any iCUE software available for Linux, which is a bummer. I know there are tools like coolercontrol and liquidctl, but neither seems to allow me to control the devices even though they can detect them. Right now, all my fans are running at full speed, and the RGB lighting is flickering like a disco party! I really dislike Windows, but I might have to go back if I can't find a solution. Does anyone have similar experiences or any tips to share? By the way, I'm using a Corsair Commander Core for the fans with RGB, a Corsair K70 TKL keyboard, and Corsair Vengeance 3200 RGB RAM. I can control my Arctic AIO through BIOS, so that's not an issue.

Did you run the command `sudo sensors-detect` after installing coolercontrol? I've found that it’s often necessary to be able to control fan and pump speeds effectively.

I wasn't aware I needed to do that, or even what the command was. I'll give it a shot!

It gave me some warnings about not being able to open files and issues with D-Bus. Seems complicated! Do you think that's the problem?

Did you mean running the sensor-detect under coolercontrol, or should I use lm-sensors? I realized I didn't have lm-sensors installed, so I took care of that. After that, I did run the sensor-detect command, and it seemed to help a lot!
